Boxcar Scars
Boxcar scars are round or oval depressions with steep, clearly defined vertical edges. They are wider than ice pick scars and give the skin a pitted, uneven appearance. Boxcar scars occur when an acne breakout destroys the collagen in the skin, causing tissue loss. The skin over the area is left without support and a depressed area appears. Boxcar scars can be shallow or deep and are most common on the lower cheeks and jaw.
Rolling Scars
